Lauren's Holiday Sangria

Ingredients:

  • 750 ml merlot or red wine of choice
  • ½ cup blackberry brandy
  • ½ cup Chambord
  • 2 ½ cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ½ cup simple syrup
  • 2 oranges, sliced
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda
  • Rosemary sprigs, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients except for the soda and ice together in a large pitcher and chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight.
  • Add the ice and soda just before serving and garnish with rosemary sprigs for a festive presentation.

Lauren says: Perfect to survive any holiday get together!

Kelsey's Kringle Kahlua

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 ½ oz Kahlua
  • ½ oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz heavy cream (or half and half or whole milk)
  • Can add a rim of peppermint if feeling fancy.

Instructions:

  • Fill glass with ice, pour vodka, Kahlua and schnapps in and stir. Add the cream at the top.

Kelsey says: Have a holly jolly alcoholly Christmas!

Jordan's Grinch Drink

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz vodka
  • ½ oz blue curacao
  • 4 oz pineapple juice (no sugar added)
  • ½ oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 3-5 drops of natural/regular green food coloring

Instructions:

  • Mix with ice and garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Jordan says: Make your heart grow three times its size!

Barclay's Bounce Back Bourbon

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz London dry gin
  • ½ oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Ginger beer, to top
  • Garnish: mint sprig

Instructions:

  • Add the bourbon, gin, lime juice and bitters into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled (about 30 seconds).
  • Strain into a Collins glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with the ginger beer.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig.

Barclay says: If you went a little too hard at last night’s holiday party, try this recovery cocktail to get you back in stride.

Randy's Famous Eggnog

Instructions:

  • Go to nearest grocery store
  • Purchase eggnog
  • Return home
  • Pour eggnog into refrigerated* glass
  • Enjoy
  • *optional

Randy says: It's a lot of work but it's worth the effort.

Emi's Jingle Java

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 teaspoons of cocoa mix
  • Your favorite coffee milk beverage (Coffee & Milk, Cappuccino, Latte, Café au Lait, Cortado, Flat White, etc.)

Instructions:

  • Mix and enjoy!

Emi says: Good all year long!

Jay Jay's Go-to Drink

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Four Roses Bourbon
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz water
  • 2 dashes Angostura® bitters
  • Wedge of orange
  • Whiskey ice

Instructions:

  • Twist the orange peel and rim the glass
  • Add the whiskey and 2 dashes of bitters
  • Add ½ oz simple syrup and 1 oz water and stir well
  • Add whiskey ice
  • Twist up the peel and give it a good squeeze and bits of citrus oil will spray into the drink.

Gingerbread Martini

  • 1 part Kahlua
  • 1 part Baileys
  • 1 part Vodka
  • ½ part Fireball Whiskey or Gold Schlager or whatever cinnamon booze you can find
